Roxy's 6!

Happy Birthday Roxy!!! My big first grader is now six years old! She is counting the days until her party on the 13th. Aaron and I thought it would be funny to put Roxy's present in bed with her after she falls asleep so when she wakes up she will see it and Aaron can see her open it. Morning came and when I woke her up she climbed right over her present and starting climbing down the stairs. I had to get her attention and show her what it was. Then she realized what it was and got a ginormous smile on her face! It was the Unicorn Pillow Pet. I don't see what the big deal is personally but ALL her friends have one (at least that's what she says). Donovan and Jojo have grown fond of that unicorn so I think Santa might be bringing a few more this Christmas. Roxy got dressed for school and walked downstairs with Mommy and Daddy only to see her other present...A new Rapunzel dress! She started stripping off her clothes to put it on but we told her that she had to catch the bus and didn't have time to play. She didn't mind because all her friends at school get to sing to her today so she was ready to go to school. She also got a wonderful card from her Ggma and Ggpa Taylor. She is currently writing thank you cards and it's her lazy Mommy who hasn't mailed them yet, sorry. She loved the braiding Rapunzel doll and Flynn from Grandma and Papa. They have been married about five times in the past two days. Mulan and Shang from the Anderson crew have been in 5 wars and are Rapunzel's parents. Needless to say, she loves all her presents. Her grandma Lisa got her a new barbie carrying case which she puts her "special" barbies in (I can't keep up with the special barbies, they change every play session). Thank you everyone who made Roxy's birthday special!!!
