Dono is TWO!!!!!!

My little boy is two years old!!! Just think, two years tomorrow, I had this little 10 pound baby and now I have this thirty pound toddler! Where on earth did the time go? Well, we planned a nice party for him and we decided to invite his nursery to come on over and play with a whole bunch of balls. Unfortuantely, it decided to rain during the party so all those little kids and their parents got to hang out in our living room. According to all the parents, their kids had a great time. I was able to find one of those parachutes that I used to play with when I was in Elementary school. They all had so much fun swining it up and down and running underneath it. That was money well spent in my opinion. I was so excited about the cake this year. I found some mini muffin tins and made a bunch of tiny cupcakes and decorated them as different balls. I was even able to put together a small ball pit for the kids. That was the hit of the party. The bad part is that it was only big enough for two at a time and that caused some friction but overall, I was so glad that I found that thing. I found the balls at Toys R Us and used about twelve of them as the invitations and gave them one in their party favor bags. The rest went into a little blowup pool that I had in my garage from the previous summer. He got so many nice gifts and he loved Grandma and Papa's present. Roxy and him haven't stopped playing with it since the party ended yesterday afternoon. It was a lot of fun to see Dono having such a great time. I am so happy that it's over though. Now I have to start thinking about Halloween for the ward. Yippee......

Ball pit was from Toys R Us? What about the parachute? I need some cool stuff like that round here. Oh wait, I need a house with some space first!
Happy Birthday Little D!

Shannon! Hey girl! It's Amber Bowers from South Carolina. We met at Girls' Camp while your mom was Camp Director for the Savannah Stake. Anyways, I'm still really good friends with Kim and Chris, and I just had to look at your page. Your Kids are so cute! And Roxy is HUGE! Last time I saw her was when she was a baby. I think that was when you guys had come to visit Kim and Chris in UT. Anyways, Now I'm married and have 1 little girl, Sydney-19 months. We also moved back to SC, near Columbia. It's so great to catch up w/ you! Check out my blog (asmusclan.blogspot.com)TTYL!
