We decided to take Donovan to a "Day Out With Thomas" in Downtown Nashville. Some of our good friends were taking their

son who is only 6 days older than Donovan for his birthday. So we decided to go with them and hang out and see what it was all about. Donovan was never into Thomas. Which isn't his fault because I was never into Thomas and so he never got a chance to see anything Thomas. If we lived near Kim then I know Dono would know Thomas because Dillan has great Thomas toys. But once we got there and they has a little tent with a bunch of Thomas train sets, his eyes lite up and he fooled all of us to think that he is Thomas' number 1 fan! Because Dono still isn't two yet, he got to go in for free, so I thought that I could get him a souvenir and it wouldn't be a big de

al. I got him one of their engineer hats and I can't believe that he wore that thing the entire day!!!! I think it's because he saw a bunch of older

boys wearing them and he just wanted to be like them. His favorite part had to be the little bounce house that was set up. He played in there while we waited for our scheduled ride on Thomas at 10:00am. The ride was cute and Donovan looked like he was having a good time but once it stopped, he was ready to get off and get a lemonade. Overall, we experienced it and probably won't do it again. I planned on doing this for Dono's birthday but Aaron had other ideas. Now I am in the process of planning a "ball" themed party for him. I can't believe I agreed to have thirteen two year olds in my backyard! At least I get to try

my cake decor

ating skills on someone other than my kids.

Hooray for Thomas! Hooray for Dono!
We did the day out with Thomas years ago with our boys. They loved it so much. Even Julia likes to play with the trains on occasion.
