Happy Birthday JoJo!

Wow!!!! Jordyn is two years old today! We woke up this morning and we were ready to have our friends over for Jordyn’s first party.

We planned one last year but then the flood was actually the same weekend so it was cancelled. The theme for Jojo’s party was BUGS…I don’t know why but it was. Actually Jojo is a big fan of the very hungry caterpillar so we did a spin off of that book. Well, we had caterpillars on her cake and that was about it.

Anyway, it ended up being a beautiful day and we enjoyed hanging out with all our buddies. Alex loaned us his ball pit and that was the highlight of the party! 

As the party favors I gave everyone a magnifying glass and a bug jar to collect fake bugs. After I gave everyone their supplies  they set off on a bug hunt. Some of the kids actually thought they were looking for real bugs and freaked when they saw the fake ones in the grass. Then we hit the ladybug piñata and ate cake. Some of the adults went inside and played our Kinect. They were a lot of fun to watch and laugh at (Mainly me)! For a two year old party I think that it went pretty well. Now I have 365 days to think about the next one and if there will be a next one!
