OUR FIRST SNOW DAY

It was our first snow day yesterday! Sunday night we had a medium size storm and the snow decided not to melt so Roxy’s school called and cancelled for the day. At 9:00am the kids ran into my room and told me that they really wanted to play in the snow. I reluctantly agreed and they ran to their rooms trying to find something to wear in the snow. Donovan grew out of his snow clothes so we made our own “snow pants” out of a black trash bag. I told Aaron all I had to do was add three white stripes down the sides and they would be name brand. Donovan didn’t mind as long as he was warm and dry. Roxy and Donovan ran outside and I stood in the doorway and watched them attempt snow angels and snowmen. The fun lasted about an hour and they were ready to come inside and eat some of Daddy’s waffles.
