Welcome to PRE-SCHOOL

Hooray for Dono, he started Pre-School today! We woke up this morning and Donovan was ready to go to school. He helped me get Roxy's lunch ready for her school and then he grabbed his own lunchbox and told me everything he wanted in his lunch. After a five minute meltdown after I told him that he will be eating lunch at home with me, Donovan was ready to get dressed for his first day. He choose his own outfit and was anxious to wear his Hulk backpack. We made snacks for all his friends and we grabbed his homework that was due today. We had to decorate a little person to look like Donovan and Donovan's looked great! He kissed his Daddy and his baby goodbye and soon he was off to his first day of school. When we arrived Donovan left me at the door and took off into the classroom. He ran around the room desperately trying to play with everything at the same time. He finally settled on this enormous school bus and I gave him a kiss and left for work. I picked him up a few hours later and he refused to leave the life-size pirate ship in the backyard. I reassured him that we will be back and he reluctantly said goodbye to Miss Jenny. I asked him how his day was and he talked about letters and the PIRATE SHIP!!!! He can't wait to go back on Tuesday and the hard part is getting him to want to come back home!
