Happy Birthday Donovan!

I can't believe that Donovan is actually Three years old! He has a lot of friends that also have birthdays this month and next month so he has been surrounded by birthday fun! In fact, he asks me every single day since mid August if it's his birthday yet. We are having a birthday party for him on Wednesday instead of Tuesday because of his pre-school. He is so excited that he can hardly stand it. I came home from work yesterday and he asked if it was his brithday yet. I told him that it was tomorrow and his party is on Wednesday. That started a little temper tantrum but was resolved after a nice long nap.

Three is a magic number--Let me tell you all the things that have happend to Donovan 3 times!

1. He has had 3 black eyes in his life. One when he was first born, two when he was 14 months and fell on the fireplace, and Three this past August when he decided to Kamakazee his sister.

2. Donovan has lived in 3 different bedrooms. One in our old home and two in our current home. We just can't decide where he will end up!

3. Donovan has three different sets of underwear that he received while being potty trained. Spider-Man, Marvel, and Pixar friends. (I know, this one is silly but thinking of three things is harder than I thought)

4. Donovan has 3 main women in his life. His lovely sister Roxann, his punching bag Jordyn, and his doormat Mommy.

5. So far, Donovan has three main phrases that he repeats to us--"Apple Pie!" (I don't get it either but he thinks it's hilarious) "Mommy...show!" And "ooh ahh ooh tiki tiki" (thanks for that one spongebob).

These three years have flown by and now my baby is in preschool and loving every moment, he talks about himself in the third person and currently has an obsession with sharks. Love you Dono!!!!
