ay and he hasn't had an accident since! My little boy isn't so little anymore (well, he never was little but you know what I mean). HE loves his Big boy undies and he loves using the potty. We went to the store yesterday for the first time without diapers and it was fun to send him into the bathroom with Daddy. Sorry Dono, Mommy doesn't do Urinals and it was funny to see Aaron's face because he knew that I was right, Mommy passed the training torch and now Daddy has to take care of potty breaks for one of our kids. We were in the meat department and Donovan had to go potty and Aaron looked at me as if to say "he has to go potty so take him" and I just said that potty's are one thing boys and girls don't share in stores, Daddy will have to take you. IT WAS GREAT!!!!!! Changing his diapers for almost three years and now I can sit down in a restaurant and watch the boys walk to the bathroom together. That is pure bliss. It's amazing how something that small and insignificant to others can be the highlight of my August. Anyway, I am proud of you my Dono!!!! Keep making me smile!!

Potty Training-Check! Next stop-Preschool!
Potty training was not a subject I wanted to explore...ever. Roxy was NOT a star student when it came to potty training. I remember sitting on the bathroom floor next to Roxann's training potty with my little DVD player and watch the entire movie "Little Mermaid" while we waited for Roxy to go potty. Oh memories. I was able to sit for 72 minutes on a floor without being interrupted. Needless to say I don't have that option anymore. When Donovan turned 2 I told myself that he can be in diapers for as long as he wants because I will be changing a diaper either way (Jordyn was only 5 months then). So time passed and I never second guessed my decision to push Dono into training...until we were called into Nursery a few months ago. I smelled tons of dirty diapers every week and I always had to take some kid to their parent for a diaper change. Then one day, the weirdest thing happened, no diaper changes. Th
en the parents started showing up in the middle of class and take their children to the bathroom. I figured that they were ready to potty train and that was nice but I wasn't about to sit on a bathroom floor with Donovan for 144 minutes so I just went about my business. Then the Sunday before we were suppose to leave on vacation I realized that every kid turning three before December of this year was potty trained, but one. Then people started flirting with words like "slow"and "behind" and I had to defend my little guy. I told him that it's not him that isn't ready, it's me. So I told all these parents that Donovan will get potty trained in less than a week because; One- he showed all the signs of being ready. And Two-that's all the time I had before school started. We enjoyed our vacation out west and came home last Monday evening. Tuesday would be the first official day of training. We woke up and told Donovan that we changed his last diaper and put him in Thomas underwear. He wasn't too thrilled and begged for this diaper for about 5 minutes. Then I think he started enjoying the freedom and all the attention he was getting from Mom and Dad. I set him on the potty and said "alright big boy do your stuff" and he did. He only had two accidents on Tuesday and now it's Sund
