Once there was a Snowman!

I never thought that I would live in a place where I can actually build a snowman. I have built a snowman in the past but they were only about 10 inches tall and melted by 4 in the afternoon. So when Roxann asked me to go outside with her and build a snowman, I was NOT excited! Reluctantly, I went outside and quickly learned some important snowman construction and before we knew it, out snowman was almost 4 feet tall! Sorry all you snowman pros out there, I couldn't handle lifting that middle section any higher than that. It really was a great time but it still doesn't change the fact that I dislike living in snow. It's amazing to me how everything shuts down! I never had that happen before. It definitely woke me up when it comes to food storage. I decided to escape the house and drive to Kroger but once I got there, people were scrambling to grab anything they can! I was able to get the one thing I was looking for (which was wheat bread) and carefully made my way out of the store. But we decided to order pizza and wouldn't you know it, they don't deliver in snowy weather! That's a concept I still haven't grasped. I told Aaron that we should go to a movie. The theatre was closed. Almost everywhere was closed just because there was snow on the ground. I know that it can be dangerous but movie theatres don't close when there is a lightning storm outside, crazy, crazy, crazy. Anyway, these are pictures of Roxy's snowman and our backyard which hopefully will never look like that again!!!
