Looking back on 2009

Happy New Year from the Hart Family! We are so excited for the upcoming year and have enjoyed all our endeavors in 2009.

Roxann started Kindergarten this past fall and loves her teacher, Mrs. McKinney. She loves attending her music class and art class at her school and has really blossomed as an artist. She also played U5 soccer and was the lead scorer on her team. Of course it helped that there are no goalies at that age, but we are proud of her all the same. Our goal for Roxann in 2010—Tying her shoes all by herself!

Donovan is a crazy, energetic, and hilarious little two year old. He is full of life and keeps Mommy on her toes all the time. Thankfully, we were able to get out of 2009 with only one broken arm. Donovan has become the comic relief of our family and loves every moment of it. He received a train table from Santa and has discovered a love of Thomas the Tank Engine. Our goal for Donovan in 2010—Potty Training!

Jordyn is the newest member of our family and being only eight months old we have little to say except that she has a smile that can light up any room. We have enjoyed every moment with her and look forward to seeing her grow. Our goal for Jordyn in 2010—walking!

Aaron is enjoying himself here in Franklin Tennessee. He is still working for Embrer as a supervisor and is at a crossroads with school plans. He is highly involved with our local scout troop and is looking forward to another Appalachian Trail trip that takes place in the summer. He is already gearing up to go to our favorite vacation site Shaver Lake, as we all are. A new past time for Aaron is taking some of his fire arms to the shooting range with a few of his buddies. In fact, that’s where he is right now!

Shannon has had a pretty interesting year. She had a baby and got a little depressed about her weight so she decided to sign up for a half marathon! She enjoys the training and being able to accomplish something she thought was impossible for her. We will see, the marathon is in March, 2010! A new job fell in her lap this year and she is teaching Fashion Illustration at O’More College of Design. She loves it and is looking forward to the spring semester.
