This last weekend was really fun for our family. We

woke up on Saturday to a beautiful day outside. We decided to see how much Donovan could really eat so we took him to Shoneys for their all you can eat breakfast bar. He ate more than Roxy and I combined. It is insane how much that boy can eat. We took the kids to Pinkerton Park and let them play on the slides. It was so funny to watch Donovan on the slides. He finally figured out that you need to sit on your bottom versus going down head first. Aaron put gel in Donovan's hair and he looked so dang cute with his grown-up hairdo. After some playtime, we headed over to the store to get Twilight for me. I wasn't about to do the Midnight release thing but I did want the 2-disc before it was sold out. I got the last one in the

store. I got a lot of dirty looks from Girls holding the regular version. Oh wel

l, too slow!!! We also picked up some Brats and hotdogs for a BBQ we were going to later. Once we were finished, we headed down to our friend's Brian and Kathy's property in Columbia. We were the first ones to arrive so Brian and Aaron decided to work on a little 4x4 Brian had lying around on the property. It was fun to watch them work on it. They had to take apart the bike to make it run again but once they got it running, Roxy had a great time riding it. It brought back all those memories of my family riding three-wheelers at the river. This bike was a little more stable but it was fun to watch her ride it aroun

d. Then we headed down to Brian's shooting range and I got to shoot Aaron's rifle a couple of times. I actually didn't mind doing it. It made the baby jump from the noise but other than that, it was a great time. Later I was convinced to try out a shotgun. I'll be honest, it was alright to shoot but I really liked reloading it better. It makes that cool noise and I liked that better than shooting it. Those shotguns sure give you a kick in the arm if you don't hold on to them. Everyone else came along and we all cooked the Brats and hotdogs and built a big fire. It was nice to just hangout with some of our good friends. This weekend was a lot of fun and I know there will be more to come now that the weather is a whole lot better.
