I don't know how people have yard sales all the time. It's insane. We had ours this last weekend and I thought we weren't very good at it. We took our little camping chairs out there and just sat while people looked around. We didn't even try to sell anything. And some ladies thought that our prices weren't very fair (for us). They thought that we were too cheap and the stuff we were getting rid of was worth more. Though no one (except one lady) volunteered to pay us more than our asking. The one lady wouldn't take a little "My little Pony" for free and insisted on giving us a quarter for it. Roxy was excited, one quarter closer to her Cinderella dress.
I am happy to say that I have been working all week on her "Queen of Hearts" dress and it's looking better and better. I'm on a first name basis with half the staff at Joann's Fabrics. They have given me some good ideas but a lot of them didn't know much more about sewing then I did (And that is really really pathetic). It's all good, I found one girl that knew more about fabrics then I did, so she helped me out there with Roxy's collar. I still need to put that collar on and hem it up, but I still have 4 weeks left till my deadline. Roxy loves wearing it around the house. She keeps saying, "Look at the Princess, I'm so cute!!!"
Aaron and I have been watching the Olympics whenever we can. USA rocks at swimming, it's insane! We also watched the Beach Volleyball men and women compete. My favorite was watching these guys playing Badminton. It was awesome seeing them smashing like crazy!! After watching these Olympics on TV, it would be awesome to go and see them in person. I think that's a new goal for Aaron and I to do one day.
