G is for Groundhog, GO, Gallop, Good, Gross, Great, and of course Glue and Glitter! The kids loved doing glue and glitter this week and we made quite a mess with it all!
Again we played Go and Stop with our signs as we ran, skipped, marched, walked, galloped, hopped around the house.
We read Ground hog stories while we acted out how the Groundhog comes out of the ground with the cups and groundhog sticks and we tried to find our shadows.
The 4 year olds came running in for snack time and found a groundhog puppet waiting for them to color and glue and they were screaming with excitement!!!!
The 3 year olds worked on making shapes with pipe cleaners:
Questions I asked:
How many pipe cleaners do you need to make a triangle? square? circle? to get them thinking about the differences of each shape.
