BATMAN!!!!!When I wrote the title, I had the television theme song in my head, so keep that in mind when you read it. Anyway...Donovan is 20 months old and is growing like a weed!!!! I went to his drawer this morning to get him a pair of shorts and found that NONE of them fit anymore. We went to Ross and bought him a whole bunch of shirts a few days ago because he started to look like a belly dancer. Now I have to move on to the shorts. While shopping around, we found Donovan some new pajamas and he loves them like nothing else. He got Batman and Superman pajamas. And they even have a cape!!! No more cutsie blues or cute little overalls....my little boy has now moved on to bigger and scarier looking clothes.
Have you ever noticed going to the childrens clothing section and on your right there is a sea of light pinks and purples? There are hearts and flowers all over the place and it looks like a rainbow just exploded and covered everything with magical fairy dust. Then you look to your left and there is lighting and thunder covering these tables surrounded by cobwebs and you will be lucky if you find anything that doesn't have black in it. I know why everything is black and navy and olive green in the boys department. Donovan gets everything sooooooooo dirty that if it was white....it would be garbage. I'm just glad that Batman's uniform was black. If it wasn't, Donovan's pajamas will already be in the trash from too many stains that I couldn't get out!!!!!! Thanks Batman.
