Home Sweet Home

Well, we are finally moved in to our new home. When I say moved in, I mean that we are currently living in the new home and are surrounded by boxes. But that's alright. I am taking my time putting stuff away. Mainly because I have no idea where to put everything! It's interesting, I have about three trashcans full of junk to throw away and only noticed that once I got to the new house. But our old house is looking really good. Aaron and I have to go there this week and help our realtor stage everything just the way she wants it. It's weird how you feel when you move into a new place. I didn't think that I would notice that much but it is a big difference. I fixed up that other house for three years and still didn't have it exactly the way I wanted it. But now, I am starting all over again. It's alright, at least this time I will hopefully get my wood floors and my slate bathroom. (We will get the slate bathroom, I already bought it) now if only I can get Aaron to help me do it. Well, my dad comes out in April so that's our timeline. The neighborhood is very quiet. I haven't seen a single person since we moved in. Wait, I have seen kids getting off a school bus so I know that there are children around here somewhere. Another week of unpacking and cleaning, my two least favorite things ever. I am just glad that my mom came and helped us with the move. She was so awesome!!!!! Roxy really misses her, and Donovan. He chose her over me every time, which is great when I'm trying to get all this packing and unpacking done. Hopefully when my parents come in April, there won't be too much to do. But I know my parents and they will want me to find them something to do (my mom anyway). I aim to please, so I will have a list waiting for her when she gets here. Or, she can just hang back and enjoy her grandchildren and not worry about anything. YEAH RIGHT!!! Love you MOM

What a beautiful house. But, moving is sooo much work. Hope you get settled in and can enjoy it soon.
