This last weekend just flew by. I got the last book in the "Twilight" saga and have been reading the third book all day long just so I can start reading the final book. It was "tax-free" weekend here in Nashville for all our back to school needs. We wanted to take advantage but saw the whole weekend slip away before we got the chance. But, we were able to get my book and a new game for Aaron's 360.
I had to take Donovan to the doctor on Friday for his ear. He has been scratching it nonstop to the point that he has blood spots all over his sheet. I thought he ruptured his ear drum but it looks like it is early swimmers ear and he has some kind of skin rash that is extremely itchy. Poor little guy, he doesn't even cry about it, he just itches his ear till the whole thing is bleeding. But on Sunday he felt much better and we decided to dress him up with his first official clip-on tie. Everyone commented on how big he was. There were two other babies born around the same time and their parents still carry them in their little car seats all bundled up. No wonder Dono looks so much older, he is HUGE compared to those babies. He's 22 pounds now and about 7 weeks away from being allowed to face forward in his seat. But I jumped the gun this morning and he is loving every minute of his new view. Roxy loves it too. She tries to hold his hand now and he is just way to busy staring outside to take any notice. It makes Roxann upset, but then we always stop at the bank to visit her favorite teller. She always gets a lollipop when that lady is working.
All of our things were painfully moved out of storage this weekend. How we missed Chad!!!!!! When I think of all that furniture I had to move and no Chad to do it for me, sad times. We missed Dad's truck the most. We only had my super heavy curio left to move and there was NO WAY that it was going to fit in either of our vehicles. As if she was inspired, LeAnn (my VT) came by with cookies and offered her help and Suburban to move the curio. It was so much fun trying to move this thing with only LeAnn and myself (Aaron was at work) and even more hilarious when we unscrewed all the glass and it still didn't fit. Aaron didn't think it was very funny but LeAnn and I were laughing so hard that the people at Arby's next door were starting to stare. We made a few phone calls to some kids in our ward and were able to find a little Toyota to borrow. But we couldn't help but comment on how much easier it would have been if family were near by. At that point, I truly felt alone. But because of my great friend LeAnn, I realized that being away from family isn't the worst thing that could happen. But it would make life so much more fun if Chad were here to be my personal furniture mover. :)
We are hoping to have a garage sale this weekend. I would rather just ditch the stuff but we promised to try to get some money out of some things for other people. So we will see and keep you posted on whether or not it happens. That just means more furniture moving and without Chad, the whole thing is just so mundane and depressing. But one great thing to look forward to is watching Roxy sell some of her old toys to earn money for her "good girl can." She is determined to earn enough money for a Cinderella dress. She's going to need to sell a lot more things than just her little toys. She wants to sell Donovan's toys instead but that idea has already been vetoed...twice.

Sounds like fun. Did you finish "Eclipse?"
